Our Animals

The Donkeys:

Amos & Bubbles

Amos is our thorough bred Donkey, who thinks he's the boss. A fun character full of mischief, but really only wants a ginger snap biscuit.

Bubbles is a beauty who came to us as the most obese donkey the vet had ever seen. Now she's fit and happy, and keeps Amos in order.

Our Pony:

Daisy

Our small but mighty miniature Shetland pony. She had a hard beginning to life but now loves life as chief goat herder.

The Goats:

Fleur & Bluebell

Fleur is Bluebell’s mum, our old lady of the herd, she is very sweet natured. Can you spot her wonky ear?

Bluebell is Fleur’s daughter, the most affectionate goat, she likes having her cheeks rubbed and getting brushed.

Willow

“Oh what lovely eye brows” as well as the best coat and golden locks. Bluebell, Fleur and Willow are all Royal Golden Guernsey coats.

Ruth

Our wonderful goat who thinks she’s a dog. A lovely character, friendly, inquisitive, mischievous and funny. She loves climbing high, as well as meeting new friends.

The Pigs:

Delilah & Phoebe

Delilah is the Houdini pig, the escape artist. She is smart and funny and loves to lie on people for cuddles, the hugging pig!! Phoebe and Delilah are both Kunekune Pigs.

Phoebe is very special with the kindest heart a pig can have. She notices everything and watches everyone, but will also love a back scratch.

The Sheep:

Hughie & Louie

Our pair of Valais Blacknose Sheep. They are magnificent gentle giants and are very rarely seen apart. They will raise their front leg for a treat, but mind their horns.
They are collectively, affectionately known as the Beastie Boys.

Our Lambs

Each spring we rehome orphan lambs from a local estate.
Matthew and Luke are from 2024.
Our 2025 lambs include Mavis, Bones, Socks, Nora, Maggoty (Elvis), Lola, Bat Lamb, and Isaiah.
Our 2026 lambs include Samson, Mary, Joseph, Dotty. Delilah and Evie.

Our Church Sheep

At Pakefield Parish Church, All Saints and St Margarets, you will find our sheep looking after the grounds.
They are Roo, Poppy, Skye and Sparkle.

On Facebook they can be found as The Pakefield Sheep

Dotty

Dotty is our very special lamb. She is one of this year's, orphans, and she is totally blind.
A lovely shepherdess from Ipswich gave us a call at the beginning of the summer asking if we would consider taking Dotty on. She knew this lamb was special.
Dotty has the most random baa, she walks with a funny little gait ... and is such a sweet character.

The Alpacas:

Casper, Ice & Oreo

Casper is one of our Huacaya Alpacas, named after the friendly ghost, and just as friendly especially if you have treats. Best friends with Ice.

Ice is the other of our Huacaya Alpacas, cool as ice, but he loves to meet new friends and go on walks with his best friend Casper.

Oreo is our Suri Alpaca, the same colour as an Oreo biscuit. He’s a friendly chap who loves a neck hug, carrots and apples!

Kermit

Kermit is a Suri Alpaca. Kermit, so named because he could be a bit of a muppet, came to live at Pakefield Pastures in June 2026.
He is enjoying living in a smaller pack, he is very protective, and notices everything around him.

The Ducks:

Our ducks were born in February 2026 and their names are Jemima, Cinnamon, Dr. Duck, Mildred and Grape.

Each of them have their own lovely character and mischief, but they all enjoy meeting people and sitting on laps!

Ernie

Ernie is our handsome duck. He hangs out with all the hens and chicks. He loves coming out on visits and travels with his own paddling pool. Ernie is soft and gentle hearted and soft to stroke!

The Guinea Pigs:

Little lap cuddles with our variety of characters, who are all rescued and re-homed. Their names include Bobby, Peter, Pickle, Top hat, Fudge, Mimi, Cici, Marmite, Caramel, Chilli, Bumble.

Plus we have had lots of lovely Guinea Piggle babies!!

The Rabbits:

Peter (left) and Bobby (right) are the best of friends. They always look after each other. They enjoy lap cuddles and meeting new friends.

Annie and Alfie are our lovely Angora rabbits. They were born in May 2026.
They are super friendly and soft, and they love being brushed and stroked.
